To grow crops with minimum
expenditure and minimum/ judicious use of chemical pesticides with a view to
least disturbance to environment, ecosystem and biodiversity.

To understand the
correct objectives of IPM i.e. to grow safe food to eat, to provide quality
agri. products to trade, safe environment to live and to improve lively-hood of
the farmers.

To manage pests with
due care of community health and environment.

To change the mindset
of the farmers to achieve the above objectives.

To provide IPM inputs to the farmers at their doorsteps
to implement IPM.

To save the farmers, to
save the nature, to save the nation and society by way of providing, safe food,
water and environment.

To reduce the use of
chemical pesticides and to promote non chemical methods of pest management.

To enhance the farmer’s
in-come without disturbance the environment.

To spread the
technology upto grass root level.

Lack of intention lead the failure of IPM
technology.

To replace chemical pesticides
with bio-pesticides.

To suppress the pest population up to below
ETL level.
The lack
of intention is observed when one staff of a particular scheme is transferred
to another scheme. At this time the
integration of the mindsets of staff members of CIPMCs and states government is
needed. All efforts may be made to integrate the mindsets.
