IPM Programme in my Opinion -Few fundamental aspects about IPM .IPM के कुछ मूलभूत पहलू

National IPM Programme was made during 1991-92.Since then it is being implemented through various Central Integrated Pest Management Centres of the Directorate of plant protection ,Quarantine and storage under Union Ministry of Agriculture and farmers welfare.  Under this programme various activities are being implemented.

In my opinion Integrated Pest Management  is .........

1.A motivational  programme in which  the IPM stakeholders are motivated to do farming without harming to the nature and society.

2.IPM stakeholders are motivated through systematic trainings, demonstrations, and creation of awareness to grow safe  crops with least or without disturbance to community health, Environment,ecosystem biodiversity nature and society. 

3.IPM is a skill Development programme in which the stakeholders are made competent to grow healthy and safe crops on minimum expenditure, minimum use of the chemical pesticides and fertilizers and minimum or least disturbance to the community health, Environment,ecosystem biodiversity nature and society. 

4.IPM is not a method but it is concept of the pest management. 

5.IPM is a social movement to reduce the use of the chemicals i.e.pesticides and fertilizers  in Agriculture to avoid their I'll effects on nature ,Environment, ecosystem and society, 

.6.IPM is a way forward from growing more food to grow safe food.

7.lPM is a programme for ensuring food security along with food safety. 

8.IPM is a first step to go for organic Farming .

9.IPM is a programme for making Agriculture,profitable, sustainable, and safe through crop Diversification and crop rotation,creation of infrastructures and suitable policies.

10.IPM is a Philosophy which is related with different aspects of life.
