RAM ASRE AS AN I P M PHILOSOPHER

I am one of the founder members of the establishment of the National IPM programme of Govt of India  and also got an opportunity of heading this programme from 1.08.2012 to 31.01.2016 in the Dte of PPQ S N H IV Faridabad  under union Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers welfare. I described the detailed IPM Philosophy and as an  IPM Philosopher I described IPM in terms of social, spiritual, economical ,ecological, environmental, trade, natural and national and international perceptectives ,issues and their consideration in these aspects as in my opinion IPM does not only deals only the plant protection but also deals all aspects of life.It is a way of the plant protection with due care of issues related with all above aspects  which must be harmonious with the nature and society. It is not a method of plant protection but it is a concept of plant protection to grow bumper ,safe and healthy crops to eat and quality agricultural commodities to trade with minimum expenditure, minimum use of the chemical pesticides and fertilizers and minimum  disturbance to community health, environment, ecosystem, biodiversity, and all other essential elements  required to sustain life on earth and also to update and enhance the livelihoods  of the farmers.IPM is a way of farming without harming to  nature and society.IPM philosophy is also related with all the aspects related with crop production and protection system.IPM is a way of plant protection with due care of community health, environment, ecosystem, biodiversity, nature and society aiming to bring quality revolution along with the quality and   green revolution to ensure food security and food safety simultaneously ,to grow safe food along with more and sufficient food, to convert poisonous farming to safe farming.IPM is a complete code of the crop health management and management of the agro ecosystem.IP M is a skill development programme to empower all the stakeholders of IPM  to grow safe crop, healthy crop with minimum expenditure and minimum disturbance of health, environment and ecosystem.
IPM Philosophy is based on the principles of of live and let live to all living beings of the nature and also to conserve all the natural resources. Let's be sympathetic to  all the living beings and natural resources. It is also based on the judicious use of all the natural resources. It is all corners approach to reduce the use of chemical pesticides and fertilizers in agriculture to shift GD P based development to to nature, environment, society, ecology based development.
IPM philosophy is based on the cumulative impact of biotic and  abiotic stresses and factors of the agro ecosystems affecting the  crop yield and environment besides the principles based on crop physiology, ecology ,economics, ability of the plant to sustain  in adverse conditions up to certain extent, mechanism of plants to bear loss of yield due to pest and other abiotic stresses up to  certain extent ,bearing each and every plant part  in excess of their requirement for their optimum  yield and ability to compensate loss caused by both biotic and abiotic factors of the agro ecosystem. The presence of abundance of  various beneficial organisms in agro ecosystem regulating the pest population ,all the organisms found in the agro ecosystem are not pests ,majority of them are beneficial, all the pests must not be controlled, control only those pests which do not provide us time to control  them .
Tolerate the pest loss up to ETL to maintain the natural balance are also the main themes of the IPM philosophy.

IPM is the concept which relates the plant protection with earth or soil, water, fire, sky, and air which help to make and sustain life on earth.Word Bhagwan in Hindi is also related with different. Natural  resources  which include Bh or Bhu means earth or soil,G means Gagan or sky,V means  Vayu means air and N means  water.Lets implement IPM with due care of soil,Sky, air,and .water which are the natural resources and contribute to make and sustain life on earth.....
