11.Regular monitoring of global locust situation through FAO locust situation bulletins especially around red sea coast must be undertaken to note thelocust buildup and its movements around red sea coast where both summer and winter breeding grounds of locust are found .
12.Border surveys,Border meetings,cross country surveys must be intensified and undertaken regularly to note the status of locust population found in SDA
13.LWO must be treated as defence and paramilitary system of the country and must be always ready to coup up the locust situation for which it should be kept fully equipped with man,material,machines,methods and money along with emergency fund to manage the locust control Operations.
14.Enhancing the cultivation in Scheduled desert area also enhance the chances of locust breeding due to formation of congenial micro climate for locust breeding even in hot weather.
15. Historical data bank of locust situation,and detailed success stories must be maintained by way of using computer.
16.IT based Technologies like RAMSES TECNOLOGY ,e locust system of locust survey and monitoring also be included for the management of locust control operation.
17.It has been also observed that some times Pakistan don't take interest in locust control and allow the invasion of locust swarms into India from May to December when the wind direction is generally toward India .In such conditions it become compulsory to control locust in our SDA to avoid their movement to other part of our country.
18 .Different strategies are adopted to control different stages of locust such as hopper control is undertaken by staying in same spot or same place whereas for control of groups of fledgling, adults and swarms one has to move from one place to other place for chasing the swarm.Moreover for local breeding and small upsurge of locust the ground control operation is required and for control of locust population in large scale large like in form of swarms and upsurge the aerial control operation is required.
