Lets redefine Integrated Pest Management (IPM)

Lets redefine IPM as an integrated approach and concept for the management of complete Agricultural System from sowing of crops to end use of crop produce including pest management.ie.to suppress the pest population below Economic threshold level(ETL)and also to sustain ecosystem and natural resources including five elements of life i.e.Earth,water,Agni (Solar system),Sky (Gagan)and Air.(Vayu)to ensure their availability for use of present and future generations(Permaculture )to ensure  food security along with food  safety and also to enhance the farmers income by reducing the cost of cultivation of agricultural commodities and expecting their  enhanced sale price is called as IPM.
