Fundamental needs to implement IPM

i)                    To ensure availability of IPM inputs at doorsteps of the farmers.
ii)                  To assess and reduce the misuse of Chemical pesticides.
iii)                To assure the quality control of Chemical and bio-pesticides.
iv)                To reduce the cost of cultivation.
v)                  To train pesticides dealers about use and label claims of different pesticides as per recommendations of CIB&RC.
vi)                To motivate the Extension workers to take the correct technology upto grass root level.
vii)              To conserve the beneficial fauna in agro-ecosystem.
viii)            To disseminate the knowledge of IPM among all the stakeholders.
ix)                Aware, educate, make competent the stakeholders.
x)                  Do not ignore the safety of farmers and environment while doing IPM.
xi)                Tolerate the loss upto ETL.
xii)              To promote non chemical methods of Pest Management. 
xiii)            To provide ready to use Technology to the farmers.
xiv)            Pesticides are harmful to air, health and Environment. This type of feeling may be generated among all sectors of society. 
xv)              To manage pests with minimum use of chemical pesticides.



What is Agriculture ?
       I.            Agriculture science is a big group of different packages of practices to produce crops and also to do it various allied activities.
    II.            Each package of practice is a set or group of various practices in integrated manner used to achieve a particular objective. 
 III.            When more than one practice is used together then it is called as integration of various practises or package of practices.
 IV.            Agriculture is an integrated technology evolved based on experiences.

    V.            The objectives of agriculture are to produce bumper harvest with minimum expenditure to ensure the marketing and safe of the agriculture produce.
