My Experiences in IPM implementation

1.IPM practices do not operate in isolation as they are co-existent with each others for crop production, protection and management programme.

2.IPM is a total health management programme based on Agroecosystem  Analysis (AESA).

3.IPM is a concept not method 

4.IPM is a concept of change of mindsets of IPM stakeholders. 

5.Pesticides are more harmful than  pests.

6.No any organism of this universe is pest. They are innocent animals and are the units of Agroecosystem. If any organism behaves like a pest ,it behaves under the proactive conditions created by man.

7. IPM Inputs can only facilitate the implementation of IPM .

8.Abiotic factors also contributes in crop yields  loss significantly along with biotic factors 

9.Not all organisms found in agroecosystem are pests or harmful .Majority of them are are beneficial. Let's conserve these beneficial organisms in agroecosystem. 

10 .Not all the pests must be controlled. Let's control only thse pests who behave like pests and do not provide us time to manage them.

11.Do not control the pest till they do not behave like the pests .

12.Use  chemical pesticides only as an emergency tool only by the approved acriditated pest control operators  as per the recommendation approved by CIB AND RC.

13 IPM is a field subject which can be learnt only in the  fields.

13.IPM  is not a simbolic  subject but it is a pragmatic and practical subject.

14 .Let's define IPM with ourselves based on our professional,scientific and social, political,policymaking, administrative ,extention experiences.

15.In to day's and present social,economical,natural,climatic,and Environment context and scenario  IPM  concept must be profitable,demond based,sustainable safe to nature and society,business and income oriented and able to  maintain harmony with the nature and ,society, ecological balance ,to ensure Environmental,ecological natural,social,Development along with GDP based economical Development and also to ensure food security along with food safety simultaneously. 

16.If we can combat the Covid 19 problem successfully without medicine then why we can not implement IPM successfully without use of  chemical pesticides or with minimum use of chemical pesticides in Agriculture provided our IP M strategy must have a strong political and beaurecratic willpower power,and supports, correct vision, working attitude in team ,proactiveness,to get success at any costor in any way,with correct objectivesand achieving goals with available resources, creating awareness and motivating the stakeholders,are the main components of the strategies to be included for implementation of any concept to get desired results and success. This type of strategies must also be adopted for the implementation of IPM as it was also adopted to control Covid 19 during 2020.

17. Without cooperation of Govt.we can not implement any concept properly.
