Combat the Locust Emergency in the year of invasion itself to prevent to become plague like situation in future.

Though Locust is not a regular pest but it needs regular attention for monitoring its population both at national and global level and also to keep Locust Warning Organisation(LWO) on alert and in readiness with all control potential combat sudden Locust emergency or invasions,outbreaks and upsurges.

  Presently India is facing the the problem of locust invasions since 2019 which also continued during 2020.During this year i e.2020 India faced worst locust swarms invasions through IndoPak  border areas which also migrated to various states of India.This is the biggest locust swarm invasion after 1993.This is the second year of locust emergency being faced by our country continuously. 

 We must must combat this problem of locust during this year itself to prevent the chances of the formation of locust plague like situation in future which India has not noticed since 1962 onwards which is considered as  the biggest achievement on locust control in India.
