1 .Conducting dirrect and indirect recovery trials tho see the recovery the of different stages of the biocontrol agents found in the released sites during the same year of the release. In dirrect recovery trials we collect the para sitized host stages of the hosts or pests from the fields where the releases of the parasitoids were made during the same year and observe the emergence of the parasitoids in the laboratory from the field collected material collected after the recovery trials were conducted .
.This method of the recovery of the biocontrol agents is called as the Dirrect recovery method of biocontrol.ý
In indirect recovery trial method the
biocontrol agents specially for egg or egg larval parasitoids the frozen eggs of laboratory host like Corcyra cephalonica are pasted on a paper card and are placed in the release fields for three to four days .After then thse cards containing eggs are collected from the Same field and brought in the laboratory for further observation of the emergence of the adults from the eggs collected from the release fields. This method of the recovery of the biocontrol agents is called as Dirrect method of the recovery of the bio control agents from the fields .
From the fields like cotton crop the un opened bolls of Cotton are collected from the release fields and are brought in the laboratory to see the emergence of the adults of the biocontrol agents specially Braconid parasitoids. To recover the stages of the next generation from the release field is called as recovery of biocontrol agents and to get the recovery of the different stages of the subsequent generations of the same biocontrol agent from the same or from the neibouring fields is called as Colonization of biocontrol agents .To get different life stages of the released biocontrol agents from the release fields and also from the neibouring fields after to to three years of the release is called as Estsblishment of the biocontrol agent.
2.We must see the performance of biocontrol agents in their new home.
3 We also must study the comparative pattern of incidence of pest in the trial fields and non trial fields .
