Dte of Plant Protection,Quarantine $ Storage works as a development agency to develop IPM activities and technologies after coming out from the research agencies to assess their feasibility and possibilities ,problems and constraints to be faced by the farmers and state Extention officers , while implementing IPM among the farmers as the researchers and technologies must not go dirrectly to the field or in the hands of the farmers to avoid their side effects if any.

    IPM is committed to produce healthy, safe,and bumper crop harvest to to eat and quality Agricultural commodities to trade through national and international trade with minimum expenditure, minimum use of the chemical pesticides and fertilizers with least disturbance to the community health, Environment,ecosystem,biodiversity nature and its resources and society and also to upgrade the livelyhood of the farmers, to ensure food Security along with food safety to keep Environment neat ,clean and green and suitable to sustain life on earth through management and conservation of nature,its resources, and other beneficial organisms found in agroecosystem. IPM is also Committed to make agroecosystem operative.It is also Committed to grow crops of export quality  ie pest and pesticides free crops.IPM trained farmers can grow crops of export quality standards.
