.One squire inch paper card contains 2.5 thousand eggs of Corcyra cephalonica used for rearing of Trichogramma. Thus 6 ×1 inch Trich card contains 6×2.5 =15000 eggs of Corcyra cephalonica to be used for the production of Trichogramma. If these eggs densely arranged on the Tricho Card then they may be near about 20,OOO region 1×6"card.
.One cc eggs of Corcyra cephalonica contains nearly 2OOOO eggs .
.Eggs pasted on paper cards are UV irritated for nearly twenty minutes to be used for production of Trichogramma.
.Dosages of Parasitized eggs of Corcyra cephalonica parasitized by Trichogramma to be used for release of Trichogramma against different lepidopteran pests must be 20,000 parasitized eggs per Acr per week throughout the crop season innundativelly .
.The Corcyra eggs to be used for production of Chelonus blackburni must not be UV irriated.
.Let us use Streptomycine in the feed used for production of Corcyra cephalonica if the larvae of p become black in colour .It is due to bacterial disease may be appeared in Corcyra cephalonica culture.
.The releases of biocontrol agents must be followed by a strict Surveillance programme and Agroecosystem Analysis (AESA) of the release field to see the pattern of Ppearence of the population of the pests and their biocontrol agents found in the release field .
.We have observed nearly 100% parasitization of Corcyra cephalonica in the laboratory conditions while breeding Trichogramma in lab but we have not noticed that much of parasitizatin in the field after release.
.No body yet have calculated and observed P50 Value of any species of Trichogramma .
.Indigenous biocontrol agent may be better than exotic ones .
.We must have proper schedule of release of different biocontrol agents in different crops against different pests .
.We also must have the clear cut idea of appearance of different broods of different pests in different crops and areas and we must plan the schedule of release of biocontrol agents accordingly.
.Biocontrol agent which is able to develop in sufficient number in the field on receipt of the development of pest in the fields and able to overtake the pest population with in limited period ,is considered as a good biocontrol agent. There are only few biocontrol agents such as Epiricania melanoleuca ,Certain Braconid species ,Apelinus Mali a parasite of Woolly aphids on apple ete.which are having this characteristics.
.Biocontrol of pests must undertaken with strict , constant and regular pest monitoring and Surveillance.
