principles of Integrated Pest Management

Integrated Pest Management (IPM)is  related with nature and society which is based on the following  principles.
Non violence to avoid  indiscriminate use of the chemical pesticides and fertilizers. Let's not kill the pests without assessing their economical, ecological ,sociological, and loss to the natural resources.
.Sensitiveness.Lets realize the feeling and requirements of the nature and its resources, crops and their Agroecosystems also and the environment surrounds  us.
.Sympathathy to all kinds of harmful and useful  organisms  found in agroecosystems as none of the organisms  found in this universe are pests if any organism behaves like a pest it behaves only in provocative conditions created by man.Do not consider any organism as a pest without assessing its loss. If the loss done or to be done by the pest  is not above Economic Threshold level  then we should not consider them as a pest.
.Tolorence - Tolerate the loss caused due to  pest  below the pest population up to the pest population causing economic loss.
.Hormony - Let's  do IPM practices as per the requirement of of agroecosystem,Environment, biodiversity, nature and society.
.Live and let live to maintain natural balance in agroecosystems
Adopt nature and society friendly life style to conserve natural resources and environment t o facilitate the implementation of IPM.Avoid those lifestyles which have got adverse effect on our health ,ecosystem biodiversity nature and society.Lets make ecofriendly life style to conserve natural resources.
.Lets not make Development catestrophic in nature.
.Lets not neglect nature while doing IPM.
.Nature and culture together with better future.
.IPM for better Environment and better future.
.Use natural resources judiciously while doing  IPM .
.Use chemical pesticides and fertilizers only to combat emergent situation..
.14.welfare of all (both biotic and abiotic)in the universe and agroecosystem  is the main moto of IPM.
.IPM must be protective, beneficial, safe and full of happiness for all organisms found in Agroecosystem or universe.
Do not disturb nature beyond a limit.
Since I P M is relted to community health,Environment, ecosystems, biodiversity, nature and its resources and society and it's different sections hence the IPM practices must be better suited and friendly with these things and aspects.Same way the IPM practices must also be  included in our life styles.
.Lets allow nature to behave like nature.Do not try to change nature according to our wish or choice .Let's change ourselves according to the requirement of nature.Nature can fulfill  our needs but it can not fulfill our greeds.
.People participation ,cooperation and coordination, political and beaurecratic willpower and support ,strong and skilled leadership, ensuring the availability of  quality IPM inputs at proper time, protectiveness for implementation of IPM through advance planning,  preparation and technological advancement are the major principles for the implementation of IPM.
.IPM must be a service to the humanity, nature ,society. It must have an intention of service ,equality, kindness to all the biotic and abiotic components required to sustain life on earth.IPM has a principle of Sarv Manglam. IPM सबका कल्याण ,सबका मंगल ,के सिद्धांत पर आधारित है Let's do  welfare of all.
.In view of todays social, natural, ecological, Environmental, climatic, economicalscinarios and context the concept and the principles of IPM must be safe, profitable, income, trade and business oriented and harmonious with the nature and society liable to improve the livelyhood of the farmers
.Change of propesticidal mindsets of all stakeholders of IPM,becoming sympathetic to all living organisms (both beneficial and harmful,),giving due importance human ,animal and soil health,Creation of awareness about ill effects of chemical pesticides, Educcation and Motivation of the farmers and other IPM Stakeholers for adoption of IPM with reducing the  use of chemical pesticides, proactiveness for advanced planning and preparation, for timely execution of IPM ,ensuring availability of IPM inputs to the farmers at their doorsteps to facilitate the implementation of IPM,keeping strict and regular pest Surveillance and monitoring through Agroecosystem Analysis for decision making for the adoption of IPM practices  ,promoting biopesticides inplace of the chemical pesticides ,Making the farmers and other IPM Stakeholers competent to grow bumper and safe crops with minimum expenditure and minimum use of the chemical pesticides are the essential needs for implementation of IPM.
23. All the organisms found in agrosystem  are  not harmful or pest s most of them are beneficial. lets conserve the beneficial organisms found in Agro ecosystem to maintain natural
24. All the pests  must not always be controlled. We should control only those pests which do not provide us time to control for which we must have an advance planning and preparation.
25. We have to tolerate the loss due to pest up to the pest population called economic threshold leve .
.Lot of beneficial organisms are foud in Agroecosystem regulating the pest  population..Let's conserve these beneficial organisms found in agroecosystem.
.A plant have its every parts in the quantity of more than its  requirements. If few parts are damaged.even then ther e will be no loss in the cumulative yield .
.Each and every plant have an ability to sustain against stressed conditions up to the certain extent.
.Each and every plant have got an ability to compensate crop loss up to certain extent against the loss caused by the biotic and abiotic  stressed.
